Mercure Budapest City Center, a hotel of the AccorHotels / Orbis Group, has been highly acclaimed. Established in 2006, the Hungarian Tourism Quality Award is a certification scheme for restaurants and hotels that provide high-quality services based on European quality management principles. Mercure Budapest City Center has been recognized as one of the winners of the year 2018.
In addition to the Mercure Budapest City Center, which belongs to the AccorHotels / Orbis Group, the awards ceremony also received the Novotel in Szeged, also within the Group. The Hungarian Tourism Quality Award was presented by Tamás Flesch, President of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants, at the solemn awards ceremony held at the Société Budapest.
This is not the first time that the Mercure Budapest City Center has been honored since its recent refurbishment: the hotel has received the MUISZ Hotel of the Year award and the Hotel Design of the Year Lobby award from the Gastro & Hotel Design Awards. It has also won the Best of Budapest award in the category of 4-star hotels and has been re-certified: 4-star Superior. Acknowledgments were also confirmed by the extremely positive guest feedback.
